The Rabla Programme and its Impact on the Environment
The Rabla Programme is an initiative of the Romanian Government's Environmental Fund Administration, aiming for the renewal of the car fleet in Romania.
By enrolling in the programme, you have the opportunity to sell your old, polluting car and replace it with a new one that emits less harmful substances or an electric one.
Who can apply: all car owners with Romanian nationality and residence who own a car older than 8 years, registered in Romania.
What happens to the car: the vehicle is handed over to an authorized dismantling center. Functional parts are recovered, and the rest of the body goes to recycling as scrap metal.
